Sale: May 23rd
We are happy to announce an important private auction of 54 Carnival Bulletins. Most are from a recently discovered collection (1884-1907) in Florida that has been in the same family for more than a century, with the remainder coming from the Arthur Hardy collection (1895-1941). These are some of the finest ever produced for the Krewes of Comus, Rex, Momus, and Proteus, and all are in above average condition.
- Silent auction to be held with bids accepted on site for each individual bulletin.
- Bid increments will be $25.
- Onsite buyers will be provided with a number with names remaining anonymous.
- If unable to attend in person, bids will be accepted via email until noon on May 23 at [email protected]
- Bidders need not be present for the entire sale; winning bidders will be contacted upon close of the auction. If the winning bidder is present at the end of the sale, they may take their bulletins upon payment. If not present, please make arrangements for pickup within 1 week.
- Please note that the bulletins are bulky, heavy if framed, and shipping will NOT be offered. Please contact sellers before bidding if you will be unable to pick up the bulletins within 1 week.
